Doodlebugs: Piece of Cake!

Cake-themed artwork on display at the CRMA is the inspiration for this month’s deliciously funny story and even more scrumptious art project. Every Doodlebugs class starts with a story and ends with imagination and creation! All ages are welcome, but book selection is ideal for ages 4-7.

To create today’s project along with Miss Erin, here are some suggested art supplies you might want to have handy: a paper bag or any sturdy paper for painting, tempera paint, a sponge craft brush or other paint brush, a dropper or spoon, and for optional “sprinkles” you can use real sprinkles OR other colors of paint. You’ll want some paper towels or wipes handy, too, because this is going to be messy!
