The subject of this month’s discussion is Anne Wilson’s Hair Streak II. Acquired in 2012, this undated piece is typical of the artist’s work which explores themes of loss, time, and rituals, utilizing everyday materials. Subject yet powerful, Hair Streak II makes a visual impact far beyond its simple materials.
