One Night Stand via Zoom with Executive Director Sean Ulmer: "Curved Stones" II by Robyn Horn
Continuing our investigation into women working in abstraction, join Executive Director Sean Ulmer as he explores the work of master woodworker Robyn Horn. Her work, Curved Stones II, from her Slipping Stones series, is currently on view in the exhibition “Beyond the Object: Women Working in Abstraction.” This brief Zoom presentation will place Curved Stones II in the broader context of Horn’s significant career, as well as discuss how Horn is a major player amongst a growing number of women working in wood.
ONE NIGHT STAND WITH THE CRMA One work of art. By one artist. For one night. One Night Stand with the CRMA is a free series of art talks on Zoom led by CRMA staff, local artists, or art scholars. By focusing each 20-minute program on one artwork, the audience engages in a conversation about the artist and how the selected work of art relates to their larger body of work.
