Kids-in-Charge Day

Grown-ups, let the kids in your life give you a tour. Children use their imaginations to navigate the world around them, so they often connect to abstract artwork naturally. They not only respond to colors and shapes, but can often imagine a whole story in an abstract work of art. So why not let your child or grandchild be your tour guide through the exhibition, Beyond the Object: Women Working in Abstraction (Nov 2024-Oct 2025)! We have handouts available at the front desk if you’d like some conversation starters, but encourage your little ones to tell you what they see. You can do this anytime, but kids and families are especially welcome the first Saturday of each month.
